Vila Vita Parc in Porches is welcoming Chef Chakall for the third edition of the Culin’Art Dinners, a new series of themed gastronomic events taking place at the resort.

Chef Chakall will be teaming up with resident chef Alessandro Puleo at the resort’s Whale restaurant on Friday, July 20 to take clients on an “amazing journey” through the flavours of Argentina and the seaside.

The Argentine chef has created a menu with mouth-watering dishes like a “mini-provoleta” with parma ham, an empanada duo, and a rib-eye steak with chimichurri, salsa criolla, rustic and sweet potatoes. For dessert there will be a typical Rogel pie.

Chef Alessandro Puleo will be complementing this menu with the “fresh flavours” of a prawn taco and a rock-bass ceviche.

The eclectic menu will also be paired with a selection of “fresh and sassy cocktails, served by an experienced bartending team, and accompanied by the sounds of a live DJ and saxophone player”.

Chakall is well-known in Portugal for his work on several Portuguese TV shows. Having “grown up in his mother’s kitchen,” he owns a number of restaurants around the world including Sudaka in Berlin, El Bulo Social Club in Lisbon and Areal beach Bistrot in Lourinhã.

Apart from his career as a chef, he has also worked as a journalist in Buenos Aires, having studied journalism at the Universidad del Salvador.

Price is €55 per person without drinks or €100 including wine and cocktail pairing.
