The countdown has begun for the highly anticipated ‘Culin’Art’ dinner which will bring one of the gastronomic world’s biggest names, Chilean chef Rodolfo Guzmán, to Vila Vita Parc’s prestigious Ocean restaurant.

The dinner will take place on Saturday, November 17 and will see Guzmán teaming up with Ocean’s Hans Neuner to create an unforgettable dinner that will combine “the best flavours of Chile and Portugal”.

Guzmán has built quite a reputation for himself. In 2015, his restaurant Boragó in Chile was named the second best restaurant before being considered one of the World’s 50 Best Restaurants in 2018.

His cuisine is inspired by the traditional gastronomy of the Mapuche people (an indigenous people from south-central Chile) and uses mostly traditional Chilean ingredients from the earth and the sea. His dishes are also known for being “theatrically plated”.

Some of Guzmán’s innovative signature dishes are the venison tartare with Maqui berries, the Chilean rhubarb with fruits of the beach or the milk of cows, goats and donkeys in a creative re-adaptation of the classic Tres Leches dessert.

His cooking style will pair with Neuner’s Portuguese-influenced cuisine, which uses local and seasonal products for “irreprehensible gastronomic creations”.

Price is €230 per person, with wine pairing available for a starting price of €125 per person.
