Faro-based eye clinic Vivina Cabrita has announced that it has reopened its operating room following a number of renovations at the clinic.

The operating room is now “more modern and functional” in a bid to offer “the most advanced surgical treatments” to its clients.

The revamp also included a makeover to the reception area and the partial remodelling of the consulting and treatment rooms.

“Apart from the modernisation of our infrastructures, we also invested in the purchase of cutting-edge surgical equipment,” said Dr Vivina Cabrita, head of the clinic, who works alongside Dr Filipe Cabrita.

The clinic offers a wide range of surgical treatments, exams, consultations and therapies. Its team is specialised in retinal detachment surgery, vitreous surgery, cataracts, glaucoma, in the treatment of diabetic retinopathy and macular degeneration associated with age, and treatment of myopia, hyperopia and astigmatism with laser surgery.

It is located on Faro’s Rua Aboim Ascenção.

Clínica Vivina Cabrita also owns a clinic in São Bartolomeu de Messines where it offers not only eye treatments but also other specialties such as obstetrics, paediatrics, dermatology and endocrinology.
