In a bid to boost national pride before the start of the 2018 World Cup in Russia, fuel company Galp has launched an initiative entitled ‘Portugal a Peito’ which saw street artists joining forces to paint impressive murals at several of the company’s fuel stations across the country.

In the Algarve, Skran and Zka Team worked together to paint a mural at the Galp station on the EN125 near Faro.

The other stations where the initiative was carried out are located in Odivelas, Matosinhos, Espinho, Coimbra and Lisbon.

The murals include portraits of four Portuguese idols: singer Salvador Sobral, chef José Avillez, surfer Frederico Morais and model Maria Clara.

The goal was to highlight the success that Portuguese people have achieved all over the world in different areas.
