Parchal’s Lidl supermarket reopened last Thursday (April 6) after being completely rebuilt to offer customers a “more pleasant, simple and convenient experience”.

The brand new outlet now covers 1,400sqm, with a higher ceiling than before and a new glass façade.

Aisles are larger and there is a cafeteria and a self-service bakery.

The supermarket has also hired seven new employees, who now have new staff rooms as well as a special training room.

There is also parking for 168 cars (80 with shades) and three motorhomes.

The outlet on Rua Foz do Arade remains open from 8.30am to 9.30pm.
