Parchal’s Lidl supermarket reopened last Thursday (April 6) after extensive renovations designed to offer customers a “more pleasant, simple and convenient experience”.

The outlet now covers 1,400sqm, with a higher ceiling and a new glass façade.

Aisles have been enlarged and there is a cafeteria and a self-service bakery.

The supermarket has also hired seven new employees, who now have new staff rooms as well as a special training room.

There is also parking for 168 cars (80 with shades) and three motorhomes.

The outlet on Rua Foz do Arade remains open from 8.30am to 9.30pm.
