An original performance that will combine electronic music and acroyoga dancing will take place at Loulé castle on Saturday, July 14 at 9.30pm.

Trumpeter Hugo Alves and acrobatic dancer Filipe Santos will be the stars of the Epic Notes show, described as an “eclectic project that aims to appeal to people of all ages”.

The show will feature original music written especially for the performance but will also include moments of improvisation, promising to be a different kind of experience from the rest of the Algarve’s summer entertainment.

For those who might not know, acroyoga is a physical practice that combines yoga and acrobatics and is said to provide a series of mental and physical benefits.

Epic Notes is organised by the Algarve Jazz Orchestra with the support of Loulé council and the municipal museum. It is also part of the DiVaM programme, created in 2014 and designed to promote the region’s monuments and attract more visitors.
