We all need time for ourselves
Claire writes from Vila Real de Santo António:Dear Dr Mike, I am a single parent of two lively teenage boys. I am divorced from their father and try to focus, as much as I can, on the needs of my sons. I am becoming increasingly aware that they don’t seem to need me so much as they used to and while I am pleased that they are making their own way in life, nonetheless this sometimes leaves me feeling a bit redundant. I have purposefully avoided relationships with other men since I divorced. Is this still a good idea?
