A series of gastronomic experiences ranging from cooking classes to wine tastings can now be enjoyed every day at the Pine Cliffs Resort in Albufeira.

The initiative is called ‘Mimo Algarve’ and is led by Head Chef Lúcia Ribeiro who was worked with the likes of Michelin-starred chefs such as Gordon Ramsay, Paul Walsh, Claude Bossi and Dieter Koschina.

Chef Ribeiro will be working with Mateus Mendes, a Brazilian chef with French roots who will contribute to the events with his experience working at top kitchens.

Together they will be passing on cooking tips, techniques and even recipes, which participants can take home at the end of the day.

Pine Cliffs will be the exclusive venue for the events, with prices ranging from €25 to €785.

There is also a new gourmet store selling a variety of local produce.

“We are truly excited to bring Mimo’s experiences to Portugal,” said Pine Cliffs’ general manager Thomas Shoen.

He added: “Learning about food is something that brings people together and creates memories. At Pine Cliffs, we usually say that we are much more than a hotel; we are a lifestyle and these experiences help all those who visit us have a memorable stay.”
