THE BRITISH couple, who became so drunk their children had to be taken into care failed to appear at court in Faro on Tuesday and have left Portugal.


FARO COURT has resumed its hearing of the six Romanian men who have been accused of a series of violent crimes.

 
A SPECIAL service was held to remember Madeleine and all missing children at the Nossa Senhora da Luz church in Praia da Luz on Saturday evening (May 3).

POLICE CHIEF Alípio Ribeiro blamed his resignation this week on the media pressure from recent high profile cases, including that of missing four-year-old Madeleine McCann.

 
VERY FAVOURABLE temperatures are expected this weekend in the Algarve although Sunday will be slightly cooler than Saturday.
