Some of Portugal’s best wines will be on display at the Campo Pequeno wine fair, taking place in Lisbon between Friday, October 20 and Sunday, October 22.

Tejo wines will take centre stage though those from the Algarve will also be among the highlights of the fair.

Other wine regions taking part include Alentejo, Bairrada, Beira Interior, Dão, Douro, Lisbon, Península de Setúbal and Trás-os-Montes.

For those who want to pair the many wines on offer with some delicious Portuguese food, there will also be a selection of cheese, pâtés, cured meats, and other traditional products to choose from.

This will be the sixth year that the ‘Mercado de Vinhos’ is held.

It will be open between 3pm and 10pm on Friday, midday and 10pm on Saturday and midday and 8pm on Sunday.

Tickets cost €3 or €6, including a wine glass.
