Algarve Tree Services has seen many changes over the past year following the sad and untimely death of Martin Foy in February 2017. His wife and partner, Tiffany Nazar, has taken over the reins and has not only developed the business with efficient and effective new equipment but has formed a new professional team comprising several full-time qualified arborists and two new groundsmen.

The team has been complemented this year by the arrival of another qualified arborist, together with a new groundie under training.

Having lived in the Algarve for over 34 years, Tiffany was cognisant of the steps required to retain and push forward the fine reputation for professional expertise that Algarve Tree Services has enjoyed over many years. The company has invested in highly effective new equipment, such as two trucks to enable the dedicated team who cover the whole of the Algarve, but also work into western Andalucia and southern Alentejo.

In addition, a trailed chipper (capable of chipping branches up to 6” diameter) which recycles much of their waste and is delivered to, and used by, several permaculture farms and equestrian establishments.

Their stump grinders are invaluable for the removal of large tree stumps without the requirement for digging.

The use of the appropriate type of machinery for each and every job is vital to avoid damage to the trees and surrounding property.
