Santa Claus will arrive at Forum Algarve shopping centre in Faro this Saturday, November 10 at 11am.

The occasion will be celebrated with a welcoming parade for the white-bearded gift-bearer and a musical performance by brother duo Ricardo and Pedro Guedes.

Another highlight will be the opening of the shopping centre’s ice rink, described as the “biggest that the centre has ever seen”. Money raised from ticket sales will go towards a project to plant trees on a patch of land in Monchique and turn it into “an attraction” with paths where people could go on hikes (click here).

There will also be the popular Santa’s Village where children will be able to play and write their letters to Santa.

Santa Claus will be at the “village” from Thursday to Tuesday from 11am to 1pm, 3pm to 5.30pm, and 6pm to 8pm until Christmas Eve.

The ice rink and Santa’s Village will remain open until January 6.
