Happy shoppers hit Seville
Updated: 16-Dec-2004
The coach arrived at the Factory Outlet complex just outside Seville at 10am, and two Dutch ladies won the prize of the day as they were spotted paying for their first purchase just 27 seconds later! Having warmed up their wallets, the shoppers headed into the centre of the city and devoted four hours to culture, more shopping and a delicious tapas lunch.
The return leg of the trip featured a much-anticipated stop at IKEA - the icon of 21st century interior living – and the happy shoppers plunged in with abandon, buying everything from potato mashers up!
The whole day was enjoyable and there were lots of requests for more organised day trips of this kind, so watch this space!
The next trip will be to the Freeport Designer Outlet in Alcochete and the Colombo Shopping Centre on Saturday, January 8. See advertisement on the right for details.
