After five months of renovations totalling €4.6 million, the revamped Tivoli Lagos Algarve Resort has finally reopened.

“We are very proud of the refurbishment, which aimed to adapt the hotel to the needs of tourists,” said João Jesus, head of sales and marketing for Tivoli in the Algarve.

The hotel, located in the heart of Lagos, comprises of seven buildings with 205 completely renovated and modernised rooms designed by Sofia Sardo, a prestigious Portuguese designer who was inspired by the Algarve’s Moorish influences.

The rooms are divided into three categories – Premier, Deluxe and Suite – and “stand out due to their combination of soft colours”.

One of the novelties is the introduction of “family rooms which guarantee the comfort of the whole family”. They are spacious and have queen or twin beds as well as a sofa bed in a separate room.

All rooms boast balconies that offer views of the resort’s outdoor pool and the picturesque town of Lagos.

“This project strengthens Tivoli Hotels & Resorts’ commitment to offering a product of high quality standards,” João Jesus concluded.
