Vilamoura International School (CIV) donated €7,000 to various charity organisations at the annual Christmas Concert that took place at Casino de Vilamoura last December. The amount was raised by the school community at its annual Christmas Fair.

Cidália Ferreira Bicho (Director of Education at CIV) and Bruno Nande (Principal of the English Studies) presented the cheques to the Quarteira Social Canteen (€2,500); Miriam The Little Fighter, The Fund for Simão and The Help Mariana Fund (€1,000 each); and to the Big Hand Project sponsoring five children (€1 500).

“Respecting others, social awareness and community responsibility are some of the values CIV tries to instil in their students, from a young age,” said CIV in a press statement.
