Vilamoura World, the “master developer” in charge of developing the world-famous resort, is due to unveil a series of projects at the Mipim fair in Cannes (France), described as the world’s “leading property market”.

The event started on Tuesday and is taking place until Friday (March 16).

In a statement, Vilamoura World says the main goal is to present two of its latest real estate projects – Uptown and Central – as well as unveil news about Vilamoura Lakes and Vilamoura Marina.

The first two projects will start being marketed in April, each with their unique characteristics.

Uptown Vilamoura is described as a “residential community” that will be inspired by traditional Portuguese architecture and the colours and design of the Algarve. It will feature 136 apartments (two, three and four bedrooms) which are due to be completed by the start of 2020.

Central Vilamoura will be a closed condominium with 80 modern houses described as “exclusive and sophisticated”. It will be located near the marina, beach, golf courses and tennis courts, and will boast "a variety of services”.

Meantime, Vilamoura Marina is due to welcome more restaurants and an area specifically created for “maritime and tourist activities”, while the Vilamoura Lakes project, which is considered a Project of National Interest, is being “redefined” to make it “more sustainable and environmentally integrated”.
