After a successful first edition in 2016, the Vila Vita Christmas Market returns to Porches bringing the wonder and charm of Christmas markets in Northern Europe to the region.

Set across eight wooden houses, you will find traditional German delicacies, wines, handicrafts and various items that make great Christmas gifts.

There will also be a winter workshop, where you can learn all about the art of Christmas decorating and gift-wrapping, while the little ones will be able to enjoy activities such as face-painting and games.

The Christmas draw offers visitors the chance to win meals for two at Vila Vita’s new Japanese restaurant Mizu-Teppanyaki, and the Praia Dourada restaurant in Armação de Pêra; a wine tasting experience in the resort’s extraordinary Wine Cellar; a case of Herdade dos Grous wine; or a Christmas hamper filled with a selection of high-quality products.

Visitors will be encouraged to donate €1 per purchase made - the resort will match each donation -, with proceeds going to children’s home Bom Samaritano in Alvor, which provides support to children and youths at risk.

The Vila Vita Christmas Market will take place at the Vila Vita Biergarten, located off the EN125 by the Porches roundabout, in the first three weekends of December between 1pm and 8pm. Entry is free.
